Inleiding
Dit document beschrijft hoe u e-border gateway protocol (eBGP) tussen vPC Nеxus-paar en een ander apparaat moet configureren en verifiëren. De configuratie op het externe apparaat wordt voor de duidelijkheid weergegeven als Cisco CLI NX-OS.

De informatie in dit document is gebaseerd op de apparaten in een specifieke laboratoriumomgeving. Alle apparaten die in dit document worden beschreven, hadden een opgeschoonde (standaard)configuratie. Als uw netwerk live is, moet u zorgen dat u de potentiële impact van elke opdracht begrijpt.
Achtergrondinformatie
Routing-protocollen (OSPF, ISIS, RIP, EIGRP, BGP) tussen vPC-paar en een extern apparaat. Dit artikel beschrijft extra opmerkingen en configuratievoorbeelden voor eBGP als een routeringsprotocol.
Er worden verschillende problemen gesignaleerd bij het inschakelen van een routingprotocol via een vPC, die niet bestaan bij gebruik
standaard poortkanaal:
- Het is niet deterministisch welk lid van het poortkanaal het Externe Apparaat zal gebruiken om verkeer voor elk mac-adres door:sturen. Het is mogelijk dat het Externe Apparaat BGP pakketten voor Leaf-1 over de verbinding met Leaf-1 zal verzenden. Wanneer Leaf-1 het ontvangt, zal het het aan de CPU en verwerpt het (niet eigen ip adres), zodat zal BGP (unicast) of ander protocol (multicast) constant flappen. Hier helpt de commando peer-gateway.
- Zelfs met de opdracht peer-gateway wordt TTL bij een dergelijk pakket verlaagd. De nieuwe opdracht in NX-OS - Layer 3 peer-router schakelt dat uit.
- iBGP tussen de twee vPC-leden is nodig om te voldoen aan de BGP-regel voor iBGP tussen alle buren. We draaien binnen vrf op vPC kant, dus alleen die twee leden hoeven iBGP te draaien. DH is ook nodig bij een koppelingsfout om de rest van het NX-OS-netwerk (VXlan of ander netwerk) te verbinden en redundantie te bieden.

Verifiëren

- BGP-nabuurschap is ingesteld en stabiel
- BFD is ingeschakeld tussen externe buren
