Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) might display an alarm that indicates that the “WiFi Setup Helper Web Server is not running” even though the WiFi Setup Helper is disabled.
ISE includes the WiFi Setup Helper, which is an unsupported beta feature that allows an administrator to quickly set up wireless services such as 802.1X, Guest, and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). This feature is disabled by default. ISE might display an alarm message that indicates that the WiFi Setup Helper web server is unavailable.
There is no functional impact to the ISE device associated with the WiFi setup service alarm. The service alarm will indicate that “WiFi Setup Helper Web Server is not running”.
