After an emergency call is made, Cisco Emergency Responder (CER) notifies onsite security personnel via an onsite alert call, where the caller's extension is announced to the security personnel. CER makes an onsite alert call, but fails to announce the caller's extension.
When a 911 call is made, the configured onsite alert is also initiated. Onsite alert personnel would receive a call which will play the extension of the caller who is in emergency. Configurations affected by this defect will initiate calls to the onsite alert personnel, but will not play the audio announcement indicating the extension of the emergency caller.
No audio announcements are played for an onsite alert call.
The customer must restart Cisco Emergency Responder (CER) server service to force onsite alerts to reset.
