Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates of the Cisco® CNS Access Registrar® 3.0, Cisco CNS Access Registrar HLR Proxy Server 3.1, and Cisco CNS Access Registrar Identity Cache Engine 3.2. The last day to order the Cisco CNS Access Registrar 3.0, Cisco CNS Access Registrar HLR Proxy Server 3.1, and Cisco CNS Access Registrar Identity Cache Engine 3.2 is June 1, 2004. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until June 1, 2007.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco CNS Access Registrar 3.0, Cisco CNS Access Registrar HLR Proxy Server 3.1, and Cisco CNS Access Registrar Identity Cache Engine 3.2. Table 2 lists the product numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco CNS Access Registrar 3.5, which contains all the features supported by Cisco Access Registrar 3.0, Cisco CNS Access Registrar HLR Proxy Server 3.1, and Cisco CNS Access Registrar Identity Cache Engine 3.2. In addition, Cisco CNS Access Registrar 3.5 supports the Cisco and Microsoft Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP), Extensible Authentication Protocol Transport Layer Security (EAP TLS), the Packet of Disconnect (POD) feature, and Oracle accounting among many other features. Cisco CNS Access Registrar 3.5 is a fast, available, and extensible RADIUS platform that provides service providers a RADIUS-compliant, access policy server designed to support the delivery of dial, ISDN, and new services, including DSL, cable with telco return, wireless, and voice over IP (VoIP).
